Working with your local brewery is the absolute dream, so when we partnered with Stone & Wood to create an adventure that celebrates everything Northern Rivers, I took the production lead.

Their latest brew the ‘Cloud Catcher’, pays tribute to the iconic peak rising above the World Heritage-Listed Wollumbin National Park in Northern NSW

The concept was simple. Three mates with three different modes of transport race each other to the finish line before sunset. For this adventure, a trio of explorers would run, paddle, and ride through the ecosystems at the foothills of Wollumbin.

Once all three had arrived at the finish line, an ice-cold Cloud Catcher was cracked as they shared their respective journeys under the setting sun.

As the producer for the campaign, I had each explorer carry a single disposable camera and a smartphone to document the race in real time. I also brought my drone along to capture some B-roll footage of Wollumbin and the surrounding landscapes during golden hour.

With all the footage shot, putting together the final video required creating some graphics and recording the voiceover to help tell the story to our audience.
